His tweet " Another four years sky rocketed in twitter. I have no interest in politics, I am not an American after all. Yet i was inspired by the story of the man. In this project I used the Pyrography / wood burning to burn the Obama's face on the wood!! Funny as it sounds but i enjoyed it so much I recorded the steps from the copying of the face using carbon/graphite paper through the painting of the wood till finishing the piece. It took me two days to finish this piece. You can watch the video at: http://youtu.be/NHTfd2qVIB
In this two minutes video, I used the geometry and the Islamic art design to create the famous islamic Eight-pointed star on wood. Islamic decoration makes great use of geometric patterns which have developed over the centuries. Many of these derived from various earlier cultures: Greek, Roman, Byzantine , Central Asian , and Persian. The shading in this piece was linear which is a very easy technique of shading. The design is easy once you got the idea. The lines can be burned easily by the help of a metal ruler.
