In this video, I chose a pattern of flowers The shading was made on the borders of the flowers and to the inwards The wood used was a plaque of Syrian Birch wood The burner used was a wire tip burner

  this 7 minutes shows the basics of Pyrography / wood burning art. it starts by copying patterns on wood, burning, shading and coloring. it is an excellent guide for beginners.

inspired by this great building and its history, I tried to keep its memory through wood burning/pyrography art I was in a trip to Istanbul in January and i was astonished by this monument a turkish icon that can take your mind i used color pencils to add life to the image laying beside the bosphorus and surrounded by old architecture looking at this mosque can take you back in time to the age of ottoman empire please tell me your comments

I was touched by the success of Obama 4 years before as the first African American to reach the White House. Few months before he was able to repeat his triumph. His tweet " Another four years sky rocketed in twitter. I have no interest in politics, I am not an American after all. Yet i was inspired by the story of the man. In this project I used the Pyrography / wood burning to burn the Obama's face on the wood!! Funny as it sounds but i enjoyed it so much I recorded the steps from the copying of the face using carbon/graphite paper through the painting of the wood till finishing the piece.
