  this 7 minutes shows the basics of Pyrography / wood burning art. it starts by copying patterns on wood, burning, shading and coloring. it is an excellent guide for beginners.

This project was made using Arabic Calligraphy as a subject for the wood piece Arabic script was and will remain the most flexible and artistic among the world scripts. In this project I used a quote from the holy Quran. Its translation is " for those whom Allah (god) didn't made an enlightenment they will never have one" It took me 2 hours to finish and i was very happy with the results. How about you guys ; Will you think in doing a project using Arabic calligraphy in the future ? I promise, you will have fun doing it.

this time lapse video shows the creation of a pyrography project of a colored flower the wood used is birch wood of oval shape the colors used were faber castell water color pencils it took me 1 hour of burning to finish it

In this 1 minute video, you will watch how to add color to your Pyrography projects. I used the Acrylic colors without adding water. Acrylic colors add density to colors. I used here a combination of Red and Green color. In this 1 minute video , you can learn simply the easiest shading technique to be used in Pyrography. it can be applied simply by burning parallel line adjacent to each other to create the shading effect that you are looking for. this is very practical when using solid tip burner which is difficult to control than the wire tip burner

In this video series, I started a project on  wooden plaque using the art of Wood burning / Pyrography. The subject of this project is a flower. The flowers were always and will be always the icon of arts I didn't imagine the end product will be of this beauty! In this two minutes video, I used the geometry and the Islamic art design to create the famous islamic Eight-pointed star on wood. Islamic decoration makes great use of geometric patterns which have developed over the centuries. Many of these derived from various earlier cultures: Greek, Roman,  Byzantine , Central Asian , and Persian. The shading in this piece was linear which is a very easy technique of shading. The design is easy once you got the idea. The lines can be burned easily by the help of a metal ruler. inspired by this great building and its history, I tried to keep its memory through wood burning/pyrography art I was in a trip to Istanbul in January and i was astonished by this monument a turkish icon that can take your mind i used color pencils to add life to the image laying beside the bosphorus and surrounded by old architecture looking at this mosque can take you back in time to the age of ottoman empire please tell me your comments
